• ACM - FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY

    This is a student chapter of the national organization, Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) here at Florida International University (FIU). We encourage all who are interested in computers, especially IT and CS majors, to join our club.
    Our main goal is to help these students learn and grow their knowledge of anything relating to computing or technology. We want to help students grow academically and professionally. We also want the students to meet their like-minded peers and network.

  • Why get involved?

    We have smaller groups called Special Interest Groups (SIGs). These SIGs consist of groups of students who are interested in a small area of computers (e.g. robotics, games, graphics, phone apps).
    Available SIGs differ from semester to semester. They are based off of interest.
    Each semester, we usually have several different SIGs. and if we don't have it, just suggest it! Get a group of interested and dedicated students and start working on a project idea.
