CIS Undergraduate Catalog
Computer Science (CS)
A student in the Computer Science Undergraduate program has the choice of following one of three tracks, or the option of a CS minor.
Information Technology (IT)
The School of Computing and Information Sciences also offers two Undergraduate
Information Technology Programs.
- BS in Information Technology (IT) (as a single major)
The BS in IT requires a minor in another academic discipline (Computer Science and Computer Engineering not accepted).
- BS in Information Technology (IT) - Software Major
In addition to the broad understanding of information technology concepts, the student gains a theoretical understanding of computer science.
- Information Technology (IT) as a second major
The BA in IT (as a second major) program is open to students who will be completing another Bachelor degree program or already have a Bachelor degree
from an accredited institution.
Computer Science and Computer Engineering are not accepted as the primary major at this time.
