Subject: Re: TIR and nonTIR sequences From: "David N. Kuhn" To: Giri Narasimhan Date: Fri, May 24, 2002 11:26 am Giri, The accession numbers for the TIR sequences that I used to generate the BLAST search were: a54810 (N from Nicotianum tabacum) aaa91022 (L6 from Linum ussissitatum) aac72979 (Rpp1-Wsc from Arabidopsis thaliana) nonTIR aad47197 (Rp1 from Zea mays) aad27815 (I2C from Lycopersicon esculentum) aaa21874 (Rps2 from A. thaliana) The sequences are complete genes, not fragments. I am interested in finding any conserved regions for TIR and nonTIR genes. The conserved regions don't have to be in the NBS (nucleotide binding site). Thanks, David -- David N.
