1963 Gottlieb Gigi Pinball Machine

for sale or trade

This is a very nice original Gottlieb Gigi pinball machine. Gigi is one of the classic early 60s Gottlieb wedgeheads, and has a very unique theme. There are seven yellow and seven red bumpers, each numbered one to seven. Hitting the yellow bumper turns off the corresponding red bumper, and vice-versa. Get all the bumpers of one color lit at the same time, and you light special (actually Speshul). The number of times that you do this is recorded, and you get an end of game bonus (points and/or free games) depending on how often you've lit special. Gigi was in fact the first machine ever with a bonus score feature collected at the end of the game. The artwork on Gigi is stunning. Gigi is said to be Marilyn Monroe.

The backglass is original and is very nice. The playfield is also very nice with all plastics in tact and only a little wear. The cabinet has some scrapes but it is original and is very presentable. The game is working, but sold AS-IS.
