1973 Gottlieb High Hand Pinball Machine

This is a fully working Gottlieb High Hand pinball machine. High Hand is a classic title from the early 1970s. First, it is a single-player wedgehead, well known as the best playing games of the era. Game play is simple: knock down the targets. Get all sixteen targets, and the center hole is lit for a special. Until then, the center hole and the outlanes score a bonus of 100 per card, or 1000 per card in a completed suit. So if you knock down eight targets but have no completed banks, it is 800 bonus points. Two complete banks however is 8,000 bonus points! With four banks of four drop targets, this game has the most drop targets of any three-inch flipper machine, and the game is wide open and fast.

This game was recently waxed, rerubbered, and tuned up. The flippers are strong, this game correctly scores the bonus (most of these games don't correctly count the bonus, which is the most important feature of the game) and the match unit works.

The backglass is fantastic with no fading in the reds. It is very rare to find a Gottlieb backglass in such nice condition. The playfield is pretty nice. The cabinet has been repainted in a non-original scheme that looks very nice; the cabinet itself is solid. There are playing cards taped on to the backbox, but they can be removed if desired. All-in-all a great players game.
