COP 2210 Sections U03 and U04 Grading

Exams (tentative schedule)

Exam 1 will be on February 11^th and will be 25% of the grade

Exam 2 will be on March 11^th and will be 25% of the grade

Exam 3 will be on April 15^th and will be 25% of the grade

There will be a optional comprehensive final exam on April 20^th which if taken will replace exam 1, exam 2 & exam 3 in the calculation of the final grade that is be 75% of the grade.

NOTE: In order to pass the course you must pass the exams.

FIU Lab Exercises

The will be an exercise each week in the lab. The labs will constitute 10% of the grade

Assignments and Quizzes

There will be 6 assignments and when each is due it must be handed in at the beginning of the period. There will be a short 10 minute quiz at that time on the assignment. The assignments must be turned in at that time unless other arrangements have been made with me. The assignments must be done individually. The assignments must follow the style guidelines. The assignments will be 10% of the grade and the quizzes will be 5% of the grade.

Assignment Two is due on Wednesday February 2^nd

Review for Exam One is Monday February 9^th

Exam One is on Wednesday February 11^th

Assignment Three is due on Wednesday February 25^th

Assignment Four is due on Wednesday March 4^th

Review for Exam Two is Monday March 9^th

Exam Two is on Wednesday March 11^th

Assignment Five is due on Wednesday March 25^th

Assignment Six is due on Wednesday April 8^th

Review for Exam 3 is Wednesday April 8^th

Exam 3 is on Wednesday April 15^th

The tentative grading scale is:

A's: 90-100

B's: 80-89

C & C+: 65-79

C- : 60-64

D's: 50-59

F: 0-49
