The Cobra Battalion conducts Field Trips and Training Activities on a regular basis.
This ensures a constant state of high moral among the Cobra Corps of Cadets.

 

AD Barnes Park


Cobra Cadets participate in
Leadership Reaction Courses
(LRC's) where they use leadership,
intelligence and physical ability to
accomplish the tasks given to them.
A water saftey and survival course is
given to cadets where they learn the
skills needed to live if stranded at sea.

 

 

Rappelling

 

The Cobra Battalion takes two
Rappelling trips every school
year.
Rappelling helps cadets face and
overcome their fears. It also instills
self-confidence and pride in what
they have accomplished.

 

 

Crandon Park

 

At the end of every school year the
Cobra Cadets use everything that
JROTC has taught them in an
adventure filled Field Trip to
Crandon Park.
"Just plain clean fun." Cadets manage to
end the day's field training and still keep
smiles on their face.

 

 

Cadet Officer Candidate School

 

Here cadets participate in the
Officer Candidate School FTX.
The FTX is designed to develop
teamwork and leadership abilities.
Cadets enjoy a meal after a long
morning. In addition to the FTX
cadet's at Officer Candidate School
participate in various mentally
strenuous activites.
