I am a PhD. candidate at the
Florida International University (FIU). Now I am in the Knowledge Discovery Research Group (KDRG) at FIU. This group is led by Professor Tao Li, an excellent researcher and teacher in Data Mining community.

My research interest involves data mining and machine learning. Specifically, I am working on document understanding by using different data mining and machine learning techniques. I am also interested in how to efficiently and effectively handle the issue of personalized news recommendation.
