A tax break in the UK has meant that VW vans are selling exceptionally well, especially a version known as the Kombi.
The vehicle has adopted a cult status amongst a new class of Van driver. The most popular version, which is known as the
VW Sportline is essentially an enhanced version, complete with body-kit, that is popular with business persons and
surfers alike. The vehicle resembles the ” A Team Van” so some popular UK media have said.

In 2008 Volkswagen overtook in the UK Ford as the largest single manufacturer in terms of registrations in the UK
in the first 8 months. There was no Volkswagen Vans spokeperson available for comment which saw
the Germany company overtake the Volume player Ford for Regsitrations this year. Supplies of most models
remained boyant , but there was a considerable shortage of Crafter VW vans due to production being seized by Eastern Europe
