This course is designed to prepare students with the required knowledge to design, build and
install the hardware and software needs of an organization.
This class is divided into two general sections, Software and Hardware.
Teach you how to design, build and install the hardware and software needs of an organization, from the ground up. Building a basic network containing cabling, nodes, servers, printers, switches/hubs/routers, Operating Systems and other software.
All Hardware, Software and tools will be provided by Florida International University, free of charge to students.
This class (IDS3917) counts as any of the first four IT electives or credits toward the 120 credits requirements, there is no pre-requisites for this course.
