Marie Roch received her Ph.D. degree from The University of Iowa in 2000. She also holds M.S. and B.A. degrees in computer science from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and The University of Texas at Austin respectively. Between 1987 and 1995 she was employed by AT&T Bell Laboratories. In 2000-2001 she was an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science at Florida International University and is currently an Assistant Professor at San Diego State University. Her research interests are in pattern recognition, particularly as applied to speaker recognition.
