There are three tracks in MSIT program: Software, Sys. Admin, and Security. We just started this program officially last year. The courses are essentially from our existing courses, which may not be well suited for IT students and thus need revisions once we have more experiences. The above changes to make the tracks more flexible both in terms of contents and logistics (for example none of the above Software Track courses are offered in the Spring so the IT students would be stuck);
